I had the pleasure of capturing some beautiful moments for Holly and Travis' wedding at Alpine Lodge in Fernie, BC, which was nothing short of magical. Their love story, intertwined with their shared passion for geology, nature and all things outdoors (mountain biking, canoeing, skiing, traveling) made their day truly unique and unforgettable.

The day began with Holly and Travis getting ready in separate locations, surrounded by their closest friends. Holly shared a special moment with her mother as she helped her into her dress, a touching scene that I was honored to be present for. Meanwhile, Travis and his groomsmen prepared for the day ahead, anticipation and excitement building with each passing moment.

The first look took place near a serene forest, where Holly and Travis shared a private moment before the ceremony. The love and admiration for each other was obvious, a testament to the deep connection they share.

We then headed to Alpine Lodge for bridal party photos, taking advantage of the lodge's picturesque backdrop. The rustic charm of the building provided the perfect setting for capturing the joy and excitement of the bridal party.

The ceremony was held in the backyard of the lodge, surrounded by towering trees and lush greenery and officiated by a good friend of theirs. Holly and Travis exchanged heartfelt vows, moving their guests to tears. The flower petal exit added a touch of whimsy to the ceremony, followed by a champagne toast to celebrate the newlyweds.

The cocktail hour took place on the spacious back deck, where guests mingled and enjoyed the beautiful mountain views. The dinner that followed was elegant and sophisticated, with hilarious speeches that had everyone laughing and crying tears of joy.

As the night came to a close, I couldn't help but feel grateful to have been a part of such a special day. Holly and Travis' love for each other is truly inspiring, and I feel honored to have been able to capture their love story.
